EVERY DAY IVE LOOKED TO SEE
IF ANY SNOWDROPS
ARE GROWING
UNDER THE TREE……..
IVE LOOKED AND LOOKED
AND NEVER FOUND
A TINY SNOWDROP
COMING THROUGH THE GROUND
THAT IS UNTILL TODAY
WHEN I WAS GARDENING AWAY
I LOOKED AGAIN
AND THEN ONCE MORE
AND THEN I SAW THEM
DOWN ON THE FLOOR
NOT VERY MANY
JUST THE FIRST FEW
TINY LITTLE SNOWDROPS
PEEPING THROUGH
I THINK THAT YOU
WILL ALL AGREE
THEY ARE SO LOVELY TO SEE..
YIPEE YIPEE YIPEE……….
…..
FIRST SNOWDROPS UNDER THE TOADSTOOL…….

When the red roses bloom again, and from Daffodils to Daisies. There's been songs about so many flowers but can anyone remember a song about Snowdrops? They are after all the first.

Heron... from the winter version of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Lol.
Snowdrops keep fallin' on my head
And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed
Nothin' seems to fit
Those snowdrops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'

You mean like "snow flakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes"
Snowdrops are a few of my favourite things.
