Something to get the brain working!

Morning all. It’s been some time since I wrote a blog on here, though I have been reading others with interest. I expect we are all gardening again now and trying to get on top of the weeds!
Anyway, while studying the Open Gardens website to see which other village gardens will be open for me to visit, I discovered this mini quiz – how many can you get? I got stuck on some, not thinking laterally enough!
I much prefer the visiting groups of open gardens as there is such variety, you get loads of ideas and usually the owner is about to talk to, after all every gardener likes to talk about gardening!
Meanwhile see how you get on with this.

What a great idea . . . I love quizzes. Agree with Steragram, but I've managed Nos. 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 16, 17, 18, 27 and 28. Thanks Honeysucklegold!

I need some clues! ?
6 May, 2017
Well I didn't say they were easy and I didn't set the quiz! I haven't got all of them, just keep going back to have another look, annoying when you can't work it out.
Sheila - I haven't got No. 4 and Shirley I haven't managed No. 20! But the clue for No. 7 is it's a marsh, not a swamp.
And Maggie, no I'm not one of the clever ones, just old and been around a long while picking up bits here and there!

Honeysuckle, just returned to the quiz and found numbers 4, 7, 12 and a dodgy answer for 26! I shall PM you my answer to number 20.

Just went back to look at number 20 . . . hmm, a touch indelicate, but made me smile:)

Thanks for posting the answers which I have just looked at on the pictures - Spiraea (Spy rear) was too clever for me - as was Crocus (Crow cuss) - enjoyed finding some of the others though!
