Re-Potting My Old & New Cactis

May this Year i purchased my 1st 3 Cactis :)

& Yesterday i Purchased 3 more different 1s!

When i stood them all together it was hard to beleive the 1s i Purchased in May came in the same small pots! Theyv grown loads :)

They all needed Re-potting so heres how i did it :)

1/ Fold some paper the height of the Cactis you want 2 re-pot

2/Push it against the Cactis firmly

3/Now turn so you can close the papers end like pic shows

4/ Holding Paper Firmly you can now remove the pot

5/ Loosen the roots gentley

6/ With a little Soil in Pots Bottom place Cactic into its new home & back fill around its edges

All Done without Injury :)

Cleaned the pots & put onto my window sill in lounge

yes they have........ before i moved to sussex about 8 years ago.. i had loads of air plants... everytime i went to asda i bought one..lol.......i gave a lot away when i moved but still have 2 on my kitchen windowsill......

Great blog Jacque.....I am just about to re-pot mine for the first time so you posted this exactly right for me. I have the same cactus as the one on the right in your first photo....the variegated one. I love them.

Your cacti are beautiful Jacque, and look lovely on your sill. You probably know they are my favourite plants. I hope they flower next year for you. That's a good method of repotting them. Great :o)
