Jan 2008 i purchased 5 Small Wilma Conifer Trees which u can see 2 of beside the Shed Door :)

I decide 2 try & make them into Lolly Pop Conifers so i started to remove the lower branches which made them look like Dwarf Trees :)

Took sometime but they did start 2 look like Lolly Pops :)

I gave one 2 a Neighbour which left me with 4 nice shaped 1s :)

This Summer i put them inside My New Gazebo 1 in each corner :)

Sadly 1 of them didnt like it in there & died so iv been left with 3

Still Growing Well & been moved again :)

& in need of another Trim/Prune !!!

These are great Lollypops, did you use the fast growing lemon scented firs?

Yes please I was hoping you would write a blog lots of interest in how you do it I am sure?
I had 5 of these but they grew to 10 ft and very narrow in the wrong places so got rid. But I have 2 small new ones and I would now like to put in pots and do as you have done. I did find that they dont mind being moved about when young as long as they are watered.

Not if you keep at them, I never touched mine and then one day my husband said had I noticed the dwarf conifers I bought were??? When he notices I know he does not like something lol (I leant lol from you - but I had to ask my daughter what it meant?)
Can you put these pics on your pic page so I can put them on individually as well as the blog?

They've really plumped up, Jacque, and are looking brilliant. I think of you every time I see the little conifers in B&Qs. I keep being tempted but haven't had the courage to try yet. I will, I will.....soon :)

Jacque, this gives conifers a bad name, almost on a par with leylandii.

Before I get a flood of complaints from peeps.
...only kidding ! :0))))))))))
