Well iv had it excatly a year today but i dont know its real age?
& this Spring it looked like this

Hi Mad i keep it outdoors near my shed now weathers colder :) I will be repotting it again in Spring & hope it gets Fuller with its age :)

Thats a brilliant idea tho - I have a potted tree from last year and its just sitting in a corner - I think I'm going to decorate it for the birds.

lovely tree jacque, i was looking at some the other day in pots costing about £35 for a little one but really nice, they were about 5 years old it said, i fancy one to decorate on the patio :o))

I think Bird feeders will look as nice BusyL as christmas deco`s will u load a Pic of it when done? Hi Spritz iv repotted it twice since iv had it :)San i had a Blue Spruce up until August 2008 but it was killed by Red Spider Mites :( That 1 cost Twenty Pounds:(

Jacque, unlikely your blue spruce was killed outright by spider mites. Young plants can get completely defoliated and look dead, but normally start to recover the following year.

Morning BlueS i still have the Spruce & from the centre to half way of the branches it looks dead :( may i post a Pic l8r for u 2 give me more advice? Jacx

I wouldn't try to guess Jacque, but Bluespruce would probably have a good idea of it's age. It looks very nice, a bit like a slightly lanky adolescent, but it seems to be developing nice little cones.
Will you have it indoors as your Christmas tree? It certainly must be healthy getting cones, and it's Spring growth looks very pretty
