hi Bloomer & thanks, i went to Bury with my daughter,grandson 9 and granddaughter 18 months.. so came home stressed and had a headache..i did not buy anything..going tomorrow..on my own .lol (i will show you the shoes if you promise not to laugh)..i go for comfort not style ..lol

I wouldn't worry about the chosen shoes....they can't be any worse than what I wear constantly....crocs! Not exactly a fashion statement! lol I go for comfort any day :)

We went to well known outlet shop beginning with 'C' today,as Russ wanted some winter shoes. I didn't need any,...but found two pairs I just had to have.!!..He didn't Lol....We then went somewhere else ,and he managed to find some:o)...Well,i didn't want him sulking,did I ?..Mine are for next summer,just comfy flatties,but too good to miss:o)

Hi j,still not got my shoes ..midnight last night my eldest daughters partner was taken into hosp with a suspected heart attack..so been granddaughter sitting..i have never worn crocs but they do look comfy..

Yes, Crocs have been a godsend to me...it's such a big deal when I have to wear other shoes/boots!

i know what you mean J,i enjoy having the children then enjoy it when they go home too..i will get my b----y shoes yet & my meal out...saying that i am only joking, you just never know what is round the corner..a lad down the road told me today his daughter Paige age 18 has had a stroke i couldnt believe it..sorry to be morbid,we will have to lighten the mood ladies..

I'll tell you what happened outside our place this morning, might make you smile ! Traffic, normally light, was at a standstill due to a small black dog running in the road, all around the cars, so OH and I went out, in our slippers, in the drizzle, and joined the others trying to capture the dog! Finished up with about 10 people forming a circle, arms outstretched, we must have looked ridiculous, and then a Police car arrived, blue lights flashing ! Turned out the dog lives nearby, had escaped onto the road and the owners were frantic, as you'd expect. And what did we resort to ? Throwing some of our cats dry food towards the dog ... result ... dog stopped to eat ... owners grabbed it ... happiness all round! : o )))))))

Ha Ha..can just see you & OH running round in your slippers,at least you had a brainwave & saved the day or rather the dog ..lol.. fancy the police coming out , i dont think they would come out on a call like that round here. :o)

We weren't sure if the Police just happened to be there, or, perhaps somebody rang them ? It was like a comedy caper out there ! Fireworks going off tonight so Megan is not happy at being kept indorrs ... lol !

LOL, Bloomer, we should have worn our hooded jackets ! I had to dry my hair when we finally got back indoors, plus the slippers were pretty wet too. All for the sake of a little dog ... bet he didn't get a Bonio treat tonight ... lol !

Joking apart,I'm glad it was a happy ending...he must have been frightened..erm,.I don't mean by you...,by all the commotion..Lol.
