Hi everyone,
I’m not sure if anyone has seen a message from Derekm’s daughter today? Derek sadly passed away in April this year. His daughter Kathy has left a message on his last posting.
He had COVID-19. How awful for him, he was a really nice chap and always posted lovely pictures of his garden.
Sending condolences and the best of thoughts to all of his family.

Thanks Kate I just picked up Kathym's message as you posted yours. He will be greatly missed. I have had some lovely pm's from him over the years.
Makes me realise how lucky I was with my dose of it.

That IS sad news.
It was thoughtful of his daughter to let us know and I send my love to the family.

The world of gardening has lost a lovely chap, very knowledgeable and always gave good advice over the years, we will all miss him so much, thanks for letting us all know Kate and may Derick rest in peace.

Oh that is so sad, he was such a lovely man and we have been friends for a very long time, not only with gardening advice but also on a personal level, always there to give one a boost, I will certainly miss him....Thankyou Kate ...
