Thank you all so much for your lovely welcome – I know I’m going to feel at home here.
If it stops raining tomorrow I shall take some photos of the garden in all its mess, so I can have a record of what we are doing.
Right now, I shall spend some time looking at your wonderful garden pictures, soaking up all that inspiration!

It's always a good idea to take pics of as it is now Katnip. Power to your elbow, and your knee, and your back, you'll need lots of it, but there's no recreation like it.

Morning
Yes , Im with you on that!! I joined on the 14 march. Found the website by accident really, and haven't been off it since!! I've had some great advise and made lots of friends already. Welcome to GOY & happy gardening. I to will take photos of my garden and ask my kids (they'll kill me for saying that!! as there in their 20's) how to upload them onto this site.

Good morning Katnip, as Heron says its a good idea to take pics of it now and as you progress, you can then look back on them and see if anything needs moving or altering as once the perenials have died if your anything like me you cant remember the exact colours or how tall or short they were. But by going back to your photos you can see instantly where things could be improved.
Happy gardening.

Hi Katnip, a very warm welcome to GoY,from me. I found this site purely by accident too, and am so very glad I did. I really hope you enjoy being a GoY member, and gain so much from this site. I swear GoYers are the nicest people I've ever met! Am looking forward to seeing your garden photos, and don't worry, I'm a complete technophobe when it comes to computers, but after a very short while, you'll be up-loading with the best of us lol!

Welcome to a great "family" on line. Everyone is great and some know such a lot it is like an encyclopedia but with real people on the pages. Happy gardening. Sue

yes lots of now and later photos. it helps later in the season when you decide to re dig an area to look back and realise there are some lovely bulbs just where you were going to dig. saves expensive damage. :o)
