Beacon Hill park in Victoria

I like to stroll in this Park in downtown Victoria.
It is a pleasant walk at any time of the year. Much less bikers and joggers than on the close by oceanfront path.
We can see lots of different wildlife there. They have a live turtles in the pond but my pictures of them did not turn out well.
Just a few images around the park (in scrambled order)

Most ducks and geese are mooches and come right to your feet for a treat.
.

It is about 40 minutes drive from our place and unfortunately we visit only occasionally in combination of other reasons to go to Victoria (BC capitol).

I enjoyed visiting this gorgeous park, great photos. The wild life looks rather well fed. I think the duck & the squirrel look about to go pop!
