Today has been a good day…achieved getting the chinese elm cleaned out of the back fence. Mowed the back yard. And just enjoyed the weather. it has gotten quite breezy but it is still a relaxing day.

My tomato plant is doing well…my onions are planted in a row behind it.
My cucumber has it first bloom.
My new climbing rose “blue girl” has it’s buds
I actually have a strawberry :) due to it being a new bed wasn’t expecting much this year. Next year should give me a bountiful crop.
My Coreopsis are opening.
Lilies are opening. My stargazers have an abundant amount of buds forming :)
My first purple cone flower (Echinacea) blossom. The developement of these flowers are so different than others and it is facinating to watch.
My Blue petunia
New Guinea Impatiens along with Hypoestes.

Satisfying watching it burgeon like that, you must be very pleased. I'm watching my first strawberry - not quite ripe yet. Who'll get it first? Me or a blackbird?

Love the before and after photos! I am jealous you have a strawberry - this is my first year of growing them and not sure if I should be doing anything to help it along!
