Hungry Fish...

Its damp and dismal but the fish know its warmer and they wanted food….
The birds weren`t going far either….
As to actual gardening, I`ve pruned the roses, planted out some pansies I`d grown from seed collected last year and had a general tidy up, so all at least looks better.
These little beauties will be out soon…
Three I have indoors..
3.50pm and at last the sun has made an appearence, so I`ll now admire from indoors with a cuppa…..

Isn`t it nice to see the beginnings of Spring bulbs popping up everywhere. I`m not sure my snowdrops will come up though, not a sign of them as yet. The paperwhite is really pretty....

Your fish look happy, at least they survived the winter

It's good to see your fish survived the winter & are now hungry! Shame having to cover the pond with netting but I suppose it's in the best interests of the poor fish!
Your flowers are lovely! I expect the mini daffs on my balcony to begin flowering in the next few weeks. Now I have lots of Crocuses & Pansies as well as Violas flowering on my balcony.

Terra - sorry I didn't reply earlier- playing catch up, started out with 12 fish a Heron got 3 before winter set in and the winter took 3 more! Cleaned the pond out recently and now having problems with amorous frogs trying to get friendly with my fish, they have drowned one fish already- had to remove frog and fish still attached to get them apart! Now have net over pond and have made it deeper-also invested in pond heater for the worst of the weather. Wish there was something that you could add to the water to put frogs off mating with fish! Lol!
