Garden of Surprises....

As daughter is still on holiday we decided to spend a few more hours at Burghley Park, today we visited the Garden of Surprises and Sculpture Gardens, although quite cool the sunshine was lovely and as the schools are open again we were able to get lots of pics without the children playing ( I love to see chidren in the water but one has to be careful when taking photo`s, sad world isn`t it)……

All the time we had a musical background provided by this little chap….

He sang his little heart out all the time we were there…

Ferns growing all over this one and we had to be careful with the cameras`s as it blows very cold damp air at you…

Silly person wandering around the mirror maze…
On the way out we stopped off to say hello to a few friends..

You can imagine how much fun that is for the chidren,
I got a bit carried away with photographs so hope you don`t mind if I put the sculptures on another day….

Burghley House is a beautiful house and garden, we went there last year, love the restaurant too, the food is great! It is half hour drive from where I live :))) You have taken some great pictures too :)))
