Wet Good Friday...

Cold wet and miserable, not a problem really as we had not planned to go anywhere and our dogs do not like going out in the rain so even a walk was out of the question, sitting relaxing is ok up to a point but I soon get bored…
However I went down the greenhouse and now have approx 20 toms and literally hundreds of nemesia seedlings all potted on into next size of pots and trays, plus repotted 2 cucumber plants that I bought from garden centre a few days ago, I’ve never bought plants before but saw them so thought I’d cheat, get an early start so to speak, mine have only been in the propogator for a few days, plenty more potting on to do but daft beggar I forgot to get another bag of compost…..
No pic this time as you all know what rain looks like. hope you’re all having a good day whatever the weather…..

Same here in Staffs lincslass, what happened to global warming? Chance would be fine thing - my bones are aching for the sun.

Hallo all. After the storms over the past few days today was lovely. After breakfast I went down to the garden and prepared the veggie patch for the potatoes...the sun was shining and it started to get warm. Then me and my son went to Düsseldorf for a mooch round. When we got back my OH had got the evening meal finnished...I then said as it is so warm I will go and get the tatties planted...so I did just that. Happy easter to you all.

Well done for persevering despite the wet LL. It's due to be really nice and sunny now so hope this is the start of a sunny spring for us all. My family and I love walking too. We are by the River Weaver and there are quite a few lovely walks, although the mud is putting me off at the moment. Let's hope it dries up. :)

It has been just as cold, wet and miserable here and even the greenhouse failed to tempt me outside today! At least you have achieved a lot in yours despite the gloom!
I am so looking forward to warmth and sunshine, it can't come soon enough!
Fingers crossed!!
