I'm glad to hear you are moving from such sadness to happy memories now Lincslass. My Mum died last year, and although she was 94 and "to be expected" I was still devastated. It takes quite a time understandably, but I'm sure you well on the way now. All the best from me.

Nice to have you back Sue, I don't think you will find a nicer bunch of people than right here. :~)))
Merry Christmas!

I know what it's like, too - and it does take time. One of the GOY members helped me by suggesting that I put a vase of flowers by mum's photo on difficult days or special ones like her birthday, and I have done that. It does help. xx

Welcome back Sue, I'm so sorry to hear about your Mum. I haven't been on GoY much in the past couple of weeks so I got a bit out of touch with things. A Mum is always special and a truly big loss at whatever age. I hope you find some comfort being back with us again. xx

I'm so sorry about your mum but am glad to see you are beginning to enjoy the sunny side of life. It's not an easy pill to swallow - just remember that she's there with you behind your shoulder making sure you are OK, especially on difficult days.
