Susie`s Garden.

As children from a very early age we helped out at home, didn`t always like it but what child does, even in those days I would rather be in the garden than the kitchen. I was still in junior school when Mum gave me my own little garden, just off the yard near the kitchen door, a tiny little plot about 6′ × 6′ but it was mine and Mum gave me seeds and plants and taught me how to look after it and I loved it, from that day on that little square was always “Susie`s garden” Even after I left home and had a house and family she never changed that little patch or its name. Mum gave me my passion for gardening and when she could no longer care for her flowers and shrubs I `ve helped Dad care for hers. Below is one of the last flowers she was able to look at and care for,my Dad made me bring some home because he cannot bear to see them in his room… Susie`s garden is still there but my gardening teacher isn`t .she went to sleep on Saturday morning……. God Bless You Mum Love you always, Susie XXX……
