At the veg patch today.

Nice to see a well tended vegetable plot.
My raspberries have finished now. The birds went mad for them this year. I'll have to net them too next year I think.

Looks fantastic Linda you both have done the plot proud. All can be planted in July.

Broccoli. ...
Carrots. ...
Chicory. ...
Courgettes, summer squash, and marrows. ...
Peas. ...
Cucumbers. ...
Endive.

And soon Kale will be ready for planting out too given a few more weeks..

I had to give up my allotment a few years ago & even Gerry had to give up his this year. 😩

It has been hard work, but so far well worth it.

We have prepared the soil ready for planting seeds. Last night was very wet and windy so it will be later in the week before Barbara and I get started.
It is much needed rain but I can do without the wind.
