The season is getting shorter

yes the season is isn't it. your veg do look lovely, good enough to eat haha!

I envy you having your veggi plot at home. I have to make a journey to the allotment to collect my produce regularly, every 2nd day otherwise the Runner Beans particularly get as long as my arm,(bit of an exaggeration).

Yeh. I was collecting runner beans and cabbage yesterday.

Now if I'd ever been able to grow vegetables looking as good as yours, I would have continued to grow them, sadly I never could...

Linda, whenever I see your photos of the wonderful crops you are growing I am envious. We gave up our allotment some years ago and I do miss picking/digging up fresh vegetables.

You've done very well in the Summer garden. I must admit, I love autumn - the cool crisp air, no buzzing bugs and no threats of tornadoes and hurricanes or hazy days. Autumn colors are sublime. I didn't have a vegetable garden this year, but I've gotten loads from the neighbors.

That looks a very productive area, I hope you enjoy the produce :)
