I know exactly what you mean though. At this time of year you sense that plants are beginning to struggle a bit and yet cling on to their summer colours.

The garden is really looking lovely, Linda! Unfortunately summer - such as it has been - is coming to an end & in a few weeks we will be putting out our winter/spring plants/bulbs! Enjoy what you have while it lasts! 😃

I bought some Tulip bulbs yesterday and the garden centre was setting up their Christmas decorations.

What is the plant on the fourth photo bottom right?

It is a non flowering Begonia. It has a beautiful leaf. I have to bring it into the house in the winter.
