It is an old walled garden. Over 100 years old. We have been here for 44 years so I have done a lot of planting.

Thanks everyone. I love large plants, interesting leaves, ferns and lots of colour. I hate weeding, so every surface is covered. The steps have always been a great feature of the garden. When you enter the house from the other side you can see right through and up the steps.
I bought a power washer recently to clean the moss so I didn’t fall on the steps. They can be very dangerous. I have stairs at the side of the house I use too.

I am very careful on the steps, Rose. The problem is I fell I the studio and have been out of action for two weeks. Today I have been trying to catch up with the huge amount of growth in the garden while I was not able to walk.
