Misty morning,

Hi everyone, we went for a walk earlier and it was dull and misty. We were delighted to see the first lamb in the field of sheep and another Ewe looked as though she was about to have her lamb as her sides and back had gone hollow and she was full underneath. When my goats were like that, they had their kids within a couple of days, and just beforehand they would bleat a lot and their tails wouldn’t stop wagging. We also saw a pheasant in full coloured plumage strutting around.
They say it’s going to rain until Saturday so umbrellas at the ready folks.
It looks like the lychee I planted weeks ago is growing as I saw a little shoot today. I’ll keep you updated. Hope you are all keeping well and safe. Take care…..Linda x

When we were courting and after we were married we had a James 25o cc motorbike SBG then we progressed to a Ford Anglia car. I used to wrap up like a teddybear in the winter to keep warm. Nowadays they have all the gear you can buy. I like broad beans when they are young and sweet.

Lovely and sweet aren't they Meadowland. I always feel as though I want to go up and cuddle one.

It’s lovely to see the lambs now isn’t it! Nothing beats a long walk in the fresh air…unfortunately not for me today..I did 2 yoga classes instead…maybe over the weekend 😊

Hi Klahanie, don't give up hope with your avocados, Mine took three months to germinate. Did you scrape the brown skin off and plant them the right way up? Also they have to be near the surface. If nothing happens with the stones, Gently scrape the compost away to slightly expose the stone and see what's happening.
The Lychee took nearly a month to germinate and I kept it on the windowsill in the kitchen so that it had plenty of light and slightly damp.

Hi Kate, Keep that yoga going .....yoga is good for relaxing for the mind and great for keeping the body supple. Couldn't do the exercises now although I try to keep my old bones going even if they are slightly bionic now.....LOL.....by a bit of walking every day. It's great to be out in the fresh air and hear the birds and animals. Let's just say I wouldn't go out with earphones plugged into a phone. If you can't hear what's happening around you....is that dangerous? or am I being old fashioned......?

Thank you, Linda! I have to say I thoroughly enjoy the classes! Zumba too - have to say it's the over 50s, me included, who put the effort in. Sadly, the young 20, 30 year old look like they're playing at it! Plus they come in all their makeup!!!
I agree, I don't walk or cycle with earphones in or music playing etc...too dangerous! Much better to use our senses to partake in nature all around..

Hi Kate and Klahanie, I hope your lychee grows for you. Hopefully when my little shoot grows a bit larger I'll try and have another go at photo shrinkage...... I love the different scents from plants, I'll keep my eye open for your photo. Take care. Linda.

Lovely aren't they Rose. It's cold out there today. Went and fed the hungry ducks. Even a little grey squirrel came for a bite to eat.
