Yesterday we went to Alport Heights, one of the highest places around here and you can see for miles. It has a large standing stone at the top, and we saw a Kestrel flying across the fields as we walked around the lanes. The sheep all looked well and ready to have their lambs. The gorse was out in flower but we didn’t see any cattle in the fields. They must have been in the barns. There were signs under the hedgerows that the badgers had been at work digging out for worms. Today we went and fed the ducks by the river. The usual goose came for his feed and this time his misses came too.
Our forsythia is really pretty at the moment and the ribes flowers are just opening. The weather is warming up and getting everything under way. Even our small clematis flowerbuds are opening. I tidied up in the garage yesterday and swept through. Gerry won’t be able to find anything…A woodmouse has used one of my short blue wellies for a nest at some point. Take carfe everyone. Linda x

The word imagery you created in this blog tops any photo you could have taken. Thank you very much for this.

Thanks Klahanie, and I've just completed another childrens booklet to give away in the community...poetry, puzzles and pictures. The local butcher has them in his shop and people just take them. Just completed another watercolour wolf picture, and a painting of a horse that I did without drawing. I just painted it straight down on the paper. I give them away too. I'll never be famous, but I enjoy what I do.
