Late Summer

When you look around there are still lovely splashes of summer colour.
I do love these pulmanarias as much in the summer as in the winter, they never pop up in the same place twice
I do like these Kaffir lillies, they can take over and have been reduced several times, but keep coming back, a few are lovely.
These little begonias have been fantastic, they have flowered for months and don’t seem to mind what the weather throws at them.
I am fond of this corner, it looks far more impressive than it is, down to the left is a busy road, and on the right is a parking area, I always think the red geraniums add a good splash of late summer colour, I grow them from seed so they come out quite late.

I aways grow those Begonias also. I keep them over winter too. They survive well in a cold shed. They're very pretty.
I love your red Geraniums ... very colourful :o)

The colours in the late summer flowers seem to get richer somehow as time goes on.
Lovely photos.
