Having waited all the summer, two come along at once, there were three, but they wouldnt agree to all be photographed together.
A nice spot in full sun, seems to be what they like.

They are on a ceratostigma, I think that is the word, nice little blue flowers in late summer, had it for years, very good tempered and hardy, butterflies like it anyway.

Nice to see them. I've seen loads recently, but I've been calling them Admirals lol wrong name :o)
They won't stay to be photographed for me either.

Only seen two coloureds all year but lots of white, just realised a lack of moths and daddylonglegs, its surely got to be the weather, no wasps at all and yet I have loads of apples so normally get a lot of the beggars..

Tortoiseshells!
We haven't had any of those this year, some peacocks earlier on but thats about all, a really poor year.
what are they feeding on I can't quite see
