Afraid of heights ??

Although this isn’t about gardening – unless you are building a rock garden – I thought you may like to see it. My grandson took it whilst in Norway at the end of last year. The very thought of sitting on the edge with my legs dangling over the side makes me shudder. By the way Spritz, thanks a lot for reminding me what to do.

I wonder if there has been any accidents at all?. I doubt it though,
otherwise they would not let Tourists use it again....I would want a safety harness if i was to go on the end of this cliff. It looks very dangerous
to me, Mad...

You wouldnt be able to do that here without all the fences and warning signs telling you "because of health and safety....!!!!"

Mad - I can get up on one of those folding step things with a handle to hang on to - but ladders or heights...NO chance, carpet or no carpet. :-(((

Actually you can do it here Genuiscuffy, at Beachy Head, which looks nearly as high.
Spritz, I'm glad you can get up one of those, with a handle, I'm the same, hate heights.

In former days I was a rock climber, so I have a good head for heigts. No way would I have sat unprotected on the edge like this, on any crag or cliff. The danger of a sudden wind gust, vertigo or losing your balance is just too great. Scary photo!!
