Well I enjoyed GW last night, and found several helpful tips on it too. I felt that Toby was allowed to come into his own, and although Joe and Carol appeared plus the Camelia man, I thought Toby did well. The Camelia man’s tip not to feed yet, was very helpful too.
I wonder if others enjoyed it too.

When Toby stroked the Tomato seeedlings (to mimic the wind!) both OH and I looked at one another and said "Is he serious!" Oh, I've never watered compost like that either, thought he was going to make compost pastry !

We don't get it at it's proper time in Wales because of some people running about in a field :o((

it is a bit better than the last series. Monty Don also used to stroke seedlings to toughen them up. Still think Toby lacks charisma

I agree he does lack charisma, but then a lot of us probably do, although we're not on telly.
I agree with stroking, gently moving the seedlings so as to simulate a breeze, as it does strengthen the roots.
Hywel I sympathise with you, that running after ball nonsense always gets priority, 'cos of all the money they pay to televise it.

I enjoyed it too Mad, Toby is growing on me now and the programme flows more naturally now, just wish it was on a little longer!
