Well its been a glorious day and my boys have been having a play , when they spotted a huge Dragonfly flitting round the pond.. When it promptly fell into the water soaking it wings.. So we gently fished it out and put into some irises to dry out.. That gave me time to take its picture , which is so difficult usually..

Lovely.
We got blue dragonflies. They lay their eggs in my pond and look like aliens for 3 years!!
