donkey’s years ago i used to be a member of this site, bit drifted away due to business commitments (work!).
as i am now reasonably free thought i would re-connect as it were.
as the long in the tooth will remember we used to have a cocker labrador cross who sadly was put to sleep about four years ago. she has been replaced by another rescue and her names is maisie. a blue roan cocker. the garden pond has disappearded as we were concerned about our newish grand-son diving in and not resurfacing as it were.
also gone is the vedge patch! indeed the whole back half of the garden is/has being transformed into a wildflower meadow with a summer house in the corner. well had to fill in the pond with something.
my aging mobile will have to go then i can post a new set of pics with a new camera phone.
in the meantime, hi.

Welcome back Dave, I'm one of the long in the tooth ones who can remember the lovely Charlie and I'm looking forward to seeing Maisie and your wildflower meadow, sounds like a lot of changes over the years.....

welcome back from me too. yep get a decent camera and a 'dumb'phone. easy to use than all the smart phones that are jacks of all trades.....

I have a decent camera but tend to use my ipad or iPhone cos they're usually handy I dont think the pics are that bad... But for nice close ups you can't beat a conventional camera.

thnx all, nearly got a new camera phone yesterday, but got a suit instead. my daughter anne is getting married on saturday 31st august so thought i better had turn up all respectable like.
spent a lifetime in the aerospace industry being practical, but not very practical on a pc.
