spring is approaching and decide that the path has to go in. caught the bus to almondsbury and got off at the top of over lane. lovely view of the severn flood plain and the first severn bridge
got down to the garden centre
and found what i wanted!!!!!!!!!!!
saw some helebores that guys seem to be on about right now
after paying and arranging delivery had a coffee and pasty. delivered on friday and carried them out the back (phew).
after much soul searching, humping and cursing decided on position
after a few hot strong coffees i needed to take my boots off and go through the house to the loo
my arbour is going there. pass me my gloves
bought some crinum bulbs at the same time, must plant them out

Lots done, lots more to do - well done so far! I did notice the hellebores in the first pic - those double whites are getting popular, and no wonder.
Looking forward to seeing the completed arbour.

Lovely countryside to admire on route Dave, I bought some of those double Hellebores last year and hoping they flower again for me this year no signs of any buds yet.
Lots of work going on in your garden but won't it be good to have all these jobs done before we get that hot summer they've been on about.....

Lovely view to the severn bridge over the flood plain s and what a wonderful garden centre I would have a field day there. Your pathway to heaven is great can't wait to see your harbour, will be a nice place to sit and have another cuppa.
