just come back from torquay as we have been away for a stress break because we have our daughter and family living with us.
it was really nice down there and i certainly needed a break!
decent weather would have been nice

What a shame...the weather!! Torquay's such a lovely place and , like everywhere, better in the sunshine. That pond/lake isn't in Tor Abbey gardens is it? I didn't remember a pond.

the pond is new and in front of flower beds next to the bowling green. it looks lovely.
whilst we were at tor abbey having a coffee a couple got married in the abbey, with the reception in the adjacent big barn.
some people must have more money than sense

It's a lovely place, Torquay. We stayed very near Tor Abbey one year and walked throu the grounds to the beach everyday.

Nice to get away. It keeps you from getting the feeling that you're living with them. In any case we all have to do what we have to do and they call these the GOLDEN YEARS?
