Different areas seem to have had differing success this year in the greenhouse this year. Monty said on GW the other night that his greenhouse tomatoes had no flavour but, mine have been excellent. And we've had quite a few mini cucumbers but, they are all but finished now.My Peppers(sweet peppers) are not all that big but there are 5 or 6 that I'm hoping to pick in a week or 2 so, all in all, not bad for my first year with this greenhouse!

the trick is to keep them pot bound. no, that is not my wisdom, but that of monty don. nigel says so as well as he likes to wee against the pots

I had a disappointing year with cucumbers as well, completely lost my first lot, they were eaten away by something and I had to start again, the toms have done ok and taste delicious, didn't have to force the start of the ripening either but most are finishing very early this year except Gardeners Delight, they are all in my bottom house and only just starting to ripen, no yellowing of the leaves yet, thats actually good as its better if they don't all ripen at the same time, it means I'll get one of the g'houses sorted a lot earlier so not a bad thing.
Its so neat and tidy in your garden, mine is still looking busy as there are dog toys and pots still taking up every space, soon be time to start getting them ready for overwintering, unless of course Mother Nature decides to give us a treat and bring back some warmth, (wishful thinking)...

That's a splendid bird feeder - it would be a clever squirrel who could get up there!
