Sunshine On A Rainy Day

Despite the consistent rain, my flowers, plants and shrubs never fail to make me smile, I am not going to let it dampen my spirits as the raindrops bring such a gorgeous, unique and fascinating beauty too…

Lilies and Iris Cut flowers, the top 2 pictures are under my purple mood lighting and the lighting makes the colours so vivid, I think I will have to change my garden lights to purple light bulbs next year!!!

This picture was taken without the purple mood lighting, can you see the difference?

New this year Leucantheemum xsuperbum T.E. Killem

Clematis Princess Diana, I know its been re named to Princess of Wales but Princess Diana sounds so much more romantic and charming.

Helenium Moerhein Beauty, I panicked last week as the flowers were so small but with reassurance from other GOYERS they are as they advised starting to get bigger, I am so thrilled as they are new this year.

Purple clematis unknown Pink clematis new this year its not princess Diana the tag is buried I must find it. It opens up like a lovely tulip and then after about a week it opens fully.

Can you see my Allium Globemasters peeping through, they have been outstanding and also new this year. They have been flowering since 23rd May! I am definitely having more of these next year.

I think these Hydrangeas are so romantic and are just flowering and flowering and flowering, they are lasting forever.

My bargain hanging basket, a snip at only £36 I figure at this price for this size its not worth making my own.

This daisy is Highland dream, I am in love with daisies they put on a fantastic show throughout summer and into Autumn.

Great pictures Marion. The helenium is coming on a treat. Still much further on than mine. Your clematis are gorgeous!

Your flowers are lovely.
I preffer the name Princess Diana too. The new name sounds a bit flat to me.
I love that purple lighting. When I was little I asked my parents if I could have my bedroom painted purple lol ... and they did it for me ... everything purple :o)
