Great job Mark, well done you two. The fence reminds me of a railway station any minute now a steam train will arrive onto the platform!!

Hi Paul thankyou yes they do let her out the front.Feel safer now i have done this for Bonnie. As far as your neighbours dogs i cannot put my comment on here ,i am not impressed with some of our neighbours who breed dogs and they are barking all the time sometimes. So i do understand what you are going through .I hope things do get better for yourself but if its anything like round here it wont and drives you made in the summer when sitting in the garden:((((
Hi Katarina thankyou lol i couldnt leave it long as bonnie counldnt go in the front garden with us which she hated. But she is happy now as she can follow us everywhere.:))))
Hi Fran thankyou i never nail anything i always use screws and on the 45 pieces of wood used i used nearly 200 screws so it is very secure as next doors dog is big and heavy so had to make sure it could stand her weight jumping at it:)))))
Hi Grandmage thankyou lol thats a good one never thought of that:)))
Hi Lincslass and Surreylad thankyou for the comments .Just needs painting now to match the bottom phew.:))))

added to GoYpedia :o)))

Did you reinforce the bottom section, Mark? If the weight of the top section is carried by the bottom, there's now twice as much fence for the wind to push on.

Hi TT thankyou :))))
Hi Fran there was no need to reinforce the bottom as each piece as got 3 screws in ,also it is fastened to the main porch and the brick wall .So im sure it will be strong enough lol:)))))

Cricket, do they let the dog maraud around the front garden as well!?? We had new neighbours move in two weeks ago and they allow their 2 huge Alsations wander around the fron driveway and road off the lead.Tne poor old lady across the road was petrified the other day when they ran across the road at her! And, if that's not bad enough, they bark constantly during the week whilst the owners are at work!!!!!!
I must say, I admire your industry Mark. you don't let the grass grow under your feet.It would take me ages to get round to jobs like that.Even gardening takes me awhile to get to these days.Particularly in such horrible weather!
