Garden open days

Ihave been very interested in the bogs about various garden open days. A lot of these are to far away to view , so I had a look to see what was available here in the north east.I found a one that is new to me and looks really good. It is called Moorbank Botanical Gardens situated in Newcastle University part of Opal. they have three free open days in March and some other days which are two pounds fifty for N. G. S.charity.There is loads to see indoors and out, it is just down the road from me so a visit is a must.

I will try to get some photos I may have a camera phone by then. Until today I had not heard of this garden. it has all kinds of plants including carnivorous,cacti, and a hay meadow .

There are several quite close to me but I never seem to find the time to visit them, I should try harder.

That seems a fascinating garden, Mavis.
David edits the GoYpedia Botanical Gardens page, and I'm sure he'd be pleased to have some photos from you or a blog about Moorbank...
Let's hope for good weather on their open days.
