Just a spur of the moment decision to go and well worth it….Fewer people there,and some of the usual exhibitors such as,David Austin and Taylor’s Clematis absent…..but good to see Style Roses who were showing a beautiful shrub rose,Chandos Beauty……such a powerful fragrance…..one to order in July.Have included a photo of this……..

Was very good on the buying side…..couldn’t resist Salvia Amistad and nemorosa Caradonna though.Both such a deep purple.

The hamper was a novel way of showing the Semperverens.

The Gerberas were very effective on the tall pyramid display.

Sadly,Monty wasn’t there but we did enjoy Carol who was warmly received and congratulated on her award.

Of course,the day wouldn’t have been complete without the obligatory cream tea and a chance to rest the feet!
