Roses and Perlagoniums seem to be enjoying the September warm conditions.

Lovely photos.
Pelargoniums have lasted very well haven't they but I am beginning to think of moving mine back into the greenhouse quite soon.
Roses have benefitted from the recent rain - more than I have!!!

All looking so neat. My roses were doing great until the gales came. Scott dead-headed them today, but there are still loads of buds. The foliage looks pretty dessicated though. Rubbish from the Ash tree across the road is strewn all over, but we were sheltered from the worst of it by the hill to the south. Lots of tree branches down all over the place, but nothing destroyed in my garden thank heavens. I will get around to tidying it up...made a brief start today. But yours looks so tidy...as though you never have any weather at all!

We did last night K..in the area tree branches were across some of the roads... I'm always wary of the enormous ones across the road from us... They would fall directly onto our house... Farmer isn't bothered at all.
I'm so reticent about removing Perlagoniums, Chris.... Just want to enjoy their colours as long as possible. Roses are so adaptable I think. Even after the gales. last night there were plenty of opening buds.

Agree with Karen : your garden is beautifully neat.
Yesterday's strong winds brought down lots of dead twigs and leaves here and a nearby road was blocked by a fallen tree. We have a very large, old, oak tree in in the back garden and the noise of the wind amongst the leaves brought our little cat running indoors in fright. Scared me too. There's a very large branch aimed right at our roof and kitchen. Daughter says it should come down! ( the branch, not the kitchen!!)
Roses have been spectacular this year, I think. Love the colour of yours, Meadowland.

Those gales are very alarming especially at night, Eirlys. I should have some of the tree made safe. Thank you for your kind comments.

Very kind of both of you.... Roses are in their element, aren't they! I've seen warnings of a freezing winter. Do hope it isn't true... Rather the drought than that.

Oh no I do hope not!!

Your garden is lovely M'land, so neat and tidy, so much colour everywhere this year, I think all the roses have loved our summer, no signs of them slowing down..
