Three potted Acers.

These are quite old Acers…..they do need daily watering and probably require repotting.I really don’t want to destroy the pots as I’m sure I will in the process.

All three are lovely but my favourite is the last one. A soft shade of green and such delicate leaves.

A trio of beauties, Julia. I have to admit, I have all my acers planted in the ground and out soil isn’t acidic. I think we are just very lucky.
Keeping fingers crossed for you they continue to thrive..

They look lovely, I know what you mean about repotting them, just go for it and be careful, if the soil in the pots is fairly dry then they should come out with ease, I bought a lovely acer last year and have not got round to planting it yet, it’s called Beni Maiko wow, the foliage is pink shrimp, then turns green in summer before going blazing red at the back end.

All our Acers are in the ground, except for a new one we purchased this year, but that will go in the ground next year....
Yours do look healthy, did you repot them in the end?
