A few garden jobs before the heat of the day.

We are finding we are waking earlier and earlier. So much can be achieved well before the afternoon. Yesterday I started with the Dahlia cuttings…they have been very slow this year.
The perimeter hedge needed a trim and lastly I potted up the dwarf pink rose…after that it was time for coffee under the awning.
We usually take our exercise before lunch. There are several walks we have here, the longest being down to the River Severn.Today we chose the country lane…we hardly ever meet anyone enroute.Several May trees were showing off their blossom. So very delicate and beautiful. The route takes about an hour there and back
.This warm weather has given us the opportunity to work every day in our gardens and still have time for a little exercise. How lucky we are.Let’s hope it continues for a little longer.
Keep safe everyone x

Yes Julia, how lucky we are. Our days are filled with sights, scents and sounds. My heart goes out to those less fortunate. What a lovely photo. Happy Easter and God bless you and your loved ones. X
