Youngsters still haven't left their nest.

A few weeks ago I showed a photo of what I thought was only one baby dove in the nest…..today two were bobbing about on the branches of the Trachycarpus exercising their wings between feeding from the adults. They have been very safe up there except for an occasional threatening visit from the magpies.
They seem to be getting rather large in comparison to the size of the nest which looks very sparse.

Lovely pictures of wildlife! We have a mated pair of white doves which return each year to our neighbourhood.
