None here :( but I didn't expect any.
I think we should send even more emails and keep sending them, I've found from experience that's the only way :(

I've heard nothing either, my email went Monday..I've been going back in time over the blogs, Daves as well, not sure whether any of you realise or whether its just coincidence but Goy has played up at this time of the year many times....

Are you having other problems besides the photo's, my newsfeed isn't working properly, I often get the Qops!! message so keep having to reload, Contact Us isn't working, my email had to go through my own account, the photo's admittedly have stayed on my blog for the time being although other members blogs are once again without photo's even though they were there previously.. Oh I forgot to say I still cannot add any to my photo page..

It's BAD that nobody has replied to any of our emails, it just goes to show the techie people don't care an iota for any of us, they are rude and disrespectful, and have always been that way in my experience, and shame on them is what I say .... there you are, that's the truth. !

Who helps now with the different pages, wondering who would know, there used to be various members, Terra was one and Drc another, wondering if they have any contact with Dave besides via Goy, lets face it, we don't know if anything has happened to make Dave unavailable, I honestly don't know what to think...

He isn't unavailable,
he wrote me an abrupt email recently, after I'd pestered him and told him exactly what I thought. He said he'd received my communications and flaggings, so why didn't he reply properly to start with ?
He's probably received everyone else's emails too.

One of the people involved with putting photos on Goypedia has the same problem as us with lack of communication

I've just looked Sue, and read TT's comment, and that supports what I keep saying about the admin people of GoY ... they couldn't care less.

Its such a shame isn't it, do you know I would willingly have paid a yearly subscription to help keep it going, its so worth it, I've never found one as good or as easy to use, (when its working properly) even now I would pay, no different than subscribing to a magazine, if only Ajay and Peter had done that in the beginning, if they had they possibly might have stayed or sold it on, don't really know much about how these things work....I'll admit I've searched both of them over the years when its acted up and I've been locked out or whatever, see if they could be traced, don't know whether I would have been brave or cheeky enough to put in an appeal after all this time..

I haven't received a reply either.

When I write a private message on my iPad on Goy I can only write about 4 lines of the message and the whole thing freezes up and I cannot carry on. This might be a problem with the I pad though.

I am wondering how many have actually sent emails. It seems not many have ...
Well I don't see the point any more, if people are willing to put up with a naff website that doesn't work properly it's up to them, but I've had enough.

I won't delete my account Julia but I don't see the point in persevering with a broken down website which nobody is going to mend, it's a waste of time.

Hywel I do understand your anger and can assure you I actually have reached the point where I consider it a waste of my time as well, what is the point has crossed my mind many times in the last few months, just please don't close your account, I've had problems at this time of the year so many times but suddenly it has come right again , have to admit I'm really not convinced its going to this time, if we cannot contact anybody we are stuck.
We are okay as we are in touch on FB but other members aren't on there, least we can still use the questions and blogging pages to keep us all in touch ....

I've tried a different blogging page Hywel but I'm afraid I cannot work out how to use it, too technical for my poor brain , I need my grandson, unfortunately he's at uni in Liverpool ..

I don't use facebook much Sue, I don't like it. I prefer the other two garden sites I belong to.

I do use it a lot Hywel, I keep in touch with my family via FB, it was a Godsend during lockdown, we had family quiz nights and all sorts of things to keep us all going, we have our settings all sorted so it was private to us, otherwise I do stick to groups, rarely am I on the open pages unless I see something posted from a friend or relative, I feel safer in them, I belong to four gardening ones, have made many friends on them, some Goy members belong to the same ones...Have seen your post and will check them out..x
