Now for a week off

Thats it for a week. Plants in the greenhouse all checked and snuggled down. As many leaves raked and cleared away as I can. All stored in bags to rot down. Case half packed, which is proving to be a chore as “dear little Chloe” thinks its funny to keep taking things out again. Sleeping Partner has sorted out his fishing gear, which he has left in the middle of the hallway, so we have got to keep climbing over tut….Food bags are packed ready for the chalet. Keep looking around and wondering if I should maybe put in one more jumper…..just in case. We are off to Halwill Junction, which is just outside of Okehampton. A week sitting by the lakes. Himself fishing, having the time of his life, and me, reading…..maybe freezing according to the weather men, and worrying about whats going on in my garden back home. Mind you, at least everything is pretty much dormant, so really, its better than when he wants to go in June. So, my friends, have a good week all of you and I shall be back in touch on our return. Happy Gardening x x x
