So are the other veggies...

As of Sunday aside from the dwarf beans all the seed has been planted in both the moon bed and the control bed. The final drills for the cauliflowers and broccoli were planted on Friday in the moon bed and Sunday in the control bed. Sowing will still carry on in other parts of the veggie garden for about a month so that we have a rotation of veggies.
Currently the broad beans in the moon bed are doing better than those in the control bed… time will tell if this is going to continue :-)
Broad beans and peas growing in the moon bed
Broad beans and peas growing in the control bed – we are using a neighbours garden for the control bed and there are still several weedy areas in it.

Hi Blodyn
In theory all the veggies grown following the moon's cycle should do better - hopefully this is what the trial will point up but, who knows I am open minded right now
