Hi everyone,
Well I’ve been back a while ( 2wks ) and managed to stake the foxgloves that were lying in the garden when I got back….they are a strange shape tho’ with the flower spikes bending to get to the light. The begonias that were growing well when I left just seemed to have stopped growing so I put them back in the greenhouse! The runner beans hadn’t done much either and the dwarf french beans I planted have mostly been eaten by the slugs and snails, even tho’ I put slug pellets down…
My apple tree that has 2 types of apple only flowered on the top part of the tree but on looking closer the tiny apples that had started to form have shrivelled up :( no apples this year !! The laburnum that has flowered so magnificently for me over the last few years didn’t have 1 single flower this year. My neighbour reckoned that the frost caught it.
On a brighter note…Corfu was beautiful – even if it was too hot for me. Just a few pics ….

This Bouganvilla was a living car port at Parga which is on the Greek mainland. Such a clever and beautiful idea.

Looking over the balcony by the pool, the roof is another part of the Hotel and the rocks and sea are further below that !
