Yes, Driad, we always seem to be on the balcony with a glass of red in the evenings while the moon appears from behind the mountain on the far right of my first picture. It has been rising from a different place - sliding gently to the left - so by the time it's no more then a crescent it will be rising by the little lump in the centre of the photo. And, yes, I'm up early (always the early bird). I'm with you there, Hywel - lovely peaceful time of day. There's another spectacular sunrise on the way now, but I won't bore you with another one!

Wow they are really lovely pics. I must say where we live here on the east coast/on the Forth estuary, the sunrise/sets are some of the most stunning we've ever seen.
