The framed pic look so good Nosey, the framing just finishes them off nicely. Take a bow Nosey. :)
Good luck for Monday.

Oh my goodness they are amazing, I love them both!! Think you should go into business and earn yourself a bob or two nosey. lol but then I suppose the pressure to produce would take away the natural flow of how you work and that would not be good for you or your artwork. Well done, they are truly special :O))))

lol Snoop!
That is absolutely incredible Leigh...absolutely beautiful art work! I hope they really appreciate them at the Refuge...what a talent! :))))

Those paintings are really wonderful, Leigh. The people at the rescue centre should be blown away!

We paid a lot for a tiger picture nearly like yours. The rescue centre should make a good amount on those, they are wonderful, just as good as David Shepherd's.

I will Let you know how i get on and get some photos and or film when I go and meet puna and lainey . I tried eBay know interest because i haven't got a name or qualifications . That's why i sign nosey instead of my own signature because i believe art should be first and for mostly judged on its own merit and who did it secondary if not not even relevant . Art isn't about snobbery which I hate . Thanx everyone and sg I like David shepherds trains better than his elephants but he was a big influence when I was younger . He gets £50,000 a painting he said after cutting his prices .it's a funny old world . I've had someone stand right in front of me telling me there's know way i drew what i drew .again thanx .

every one is good at something and everyone can get better .

That's a very empowering philosophy, Leigh, and very true.

its true just some people will never get to do what there good at because of circumstance . some people arnt even aware of the skill they already take for granted and some people arnt interested or driven/passionate about what there good at melch .

Sadly, that's true. It takes courage to stand back from the hassle and the crowd. I really admire you for going with it. Artistic talent is required for what you achieve, but even more important is the ability and nerve to just go with it. When I was at school, there was a girl a few years older than me whose work was outstanding. I asked the art teacher (who was truly inspirational) if she thought this girl would become an artist, and she said it depended on whether the girl would be able to stick to her talent. I didn't understand what she meant at the time, but I have often thought about it since, and - of course - she was quite right. As a teacher, I was aware that achievement depended on three things - knowledge, skills and attitude. And increasingly I believe that attitude is the really important one. So - more power to your elbow, Nosey!

Both are gorgeous. I know from previous blogs that Puna was done for the tiger place. Was Ares done for the same reason or are you keeping this one yourself?
