thank you Annella, I have missed being in touch with people on the website. It was a very frustrating morning trying to get the blooming internet back up and running, main problem was getting internet provider to speak to me, as account is in oh name, what a palava. Eventually they gave in after numerous phone calls from me and oh and it was a simple matter then of just plugging it all in and setting off again.lol just another grey hair or two lol.

It really winds you up when these people won`t accept ones calls because its not in your name, even though you can give them all the relevant details, they don`t think that when they ring up at odd hours wanting you to upgrade..
Getting busy in the gardens now so enjoy yourself....

thank you everyone, glad to be back, hate not being able to chat on here. The garden is changing, it has got its yellow phase on now, all the daffodils are coming out and the snowdrops and crocosus have gone over. things are breaking out in bud and the garden is slowly springing back into life.
Still very chilly - yesterday especially, sunshine in the late afternoon but we had fog for most of the day and it seemed so cold and miserable. I think maybe I was still getting over my bug as I was so tired too. Anyway I am feeling a1 again now so back to the garden today, think I shall go around and just tidy up the path edges and try to keep my hands off the grass. lol if I take any more up there will be no grass left for sunbathing. lol. thanks again for all your good wishes.

Good to see you again, our computer went off, just could not understand what was wrong as all the neighbours were fine (we are all with Virgin, so I knew it was me) then noticed that my surge protector switch was thrown, then remember on the news the sun was having a surge and it could cause a problem with pcs, so thank goodness that was all it was, strange isn't it?

It is strange DD....have you been watching the prog. about the earth's orbit....absolutely brilliant. I love those kid of progs. and there have been a few good science series lately. :))

Hi Dotty, my problem was my router blew itself out. lol. I was ages before I realised it was the problem, twiddled all sorts of knobs and tweaked everything I could think of. lol. then I looked and the router was completely off. cost me for a new one, but it had lasted 5 years so suppose I cannot complain.

I haven't seen those programmes yet Karen, will have to watch them on the i.player. I too like the scientific series.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that edges the grass ! I'm trying discreetly to make my borders wider without hubby noticing! lol.

Well done on returning to GoY after your short break ... I'm sure you said 'Dash and bother' ... or words to that effect! ... I would have to enlist the help of our son or daughter ... as I am totally useless with computers ... :o(((

thanks shirley, think it was a bit stronger than 'dash and bother' lol but it is all good now. I thought I was going to have to ring my son but eh ho managed to fix it with a little help from my service provider, I had forgotten all my passwords after 5 years of just switching on and going with it all. have written them all down now. lol.

Ah yes, passwords for this, that and everything else! ... Our son told me off for having them all written down by the computer ... can't be too careful, Mum, said he! .......

lol I know, I used to have mine on a notebook on the computer desktop but then I realised how silly that was so have to rely on my memory or not as it goes these days. lol.

I know the feeling only too well! .......
