"One thing leads to another"

I thought I would spend an hour or so planting some of my late bargain buys.
All of the bulbs were in very good condition, just starting to shoot, so fingers crossed.
Then of course there is the labeling, which I hate doing.
Needed a few more pots so just pop outside, and spotted this in flower~~Iris reticulata
Then thought I’d pull up the stragley stems of Ginger ready for the bin, now, have you ever smelled freshley pulled Ginger, ooh, divine :o))
By now I’m more interested in what’s in flower in the garden than my potting up.
Camellia bokuhan
Clematis freckles
Dark picote hellebore
Silver leaf Cyclamen coum
garrya elliptica
Hellebore
Eranthis – winter aconite
Oh well back to potting ~ or just one quick look at the snowdrops coming on

the iris is gorgeous and looks like Iris histeroides Katherine Hodgkin. Mine arent more than 1cm above soil level.
I too have the same problems, getting waylaid when doing one job. Agree writing labels is a real pain :o)
