Snow in Cornwall

It started snowing last night and by the time we went to bed was looking quite wintery. We’ve only had a sprinkling of snow up to now and have been feeling a bit jealous. Although I know it causes havoc everywhere. I suppose we are all children at heart and like to see that untouched blanket of white.
Someone was up early, little footprints.
The birdbath needs de-icing !! Ooh not by me !!
I hang fatballs on the Abies Koreana which look very Xmasy, especially when the lights are on it.(Just taken them off)
The snow won’t last long in this area, although their are parts of the county that get really cut off, so we are very lucky I suppose.
I hope everyone keeps warm and safe.

Oh you're unlucky then Spritz. I'm on a main road, so it's clear most of the time. Last Jan.09 it came to a stand still for most of the day.

We've had a lot more than normal this time. I think it will take a long time to clear away.

It's nice to know it's wanted somewhere! Pam, RSPB advice is to remove the nets from fat balls to stop small birds damaging their legs or feet in them - some have even died!

True - you can get open wire tube feeders to put the un-bagged fatballs in. The birds flock to them and I get several birds on the feeder at once.

Yes, thank you, I've now got one Spritz & Wagger thanks to Wilkinsons being open.

We have quite a lot here in West Somerset, too, Pam. This is unusual for us, and very unwelcome as we seem to be cut off a bit! Only tractors getting around at the moment.
Oh well - at least I don't feel guilty any more that other members are in the grips of it and we're not!
Keep warm. :-)
