I joined this site yesterday so all this is new to me.
I’m hoping to find other enthusiastic idiot, ignorant, but willing to learn, gardeners such as myself:-)
I’ve just completed my usual morning stroll around the garden wishing we could have some rain. Sorry if that’s upset anyone but I have a fairly large garden and my barrels are now almost dry.
My job for today is to tidy an area that’s beginning to get out of control. I’m ashamed to admit I start in one one part of the garden then spend the rest of the day flitting around working on other beds. I’m sure there’s a cure for this but, as yet, haven’t managed to find it.

im still flitting around my garden ~ and kitchen ~ and house ~ never did learn a cure ~ always something else to do!!

TUM = time use management! Spend one hour on the big project and flit around the rest as you please.
Don't forget that bath and shower water is Ok for watering if you don't like using tap water neat.
I am trying rain dancing but to no effect. If we all planned a bbq or day out then that should do it...

Welcome to Goy Penny, your not on your own when it comes to empty rain barrels I think most of us have been praying for rain, in fact I`ve been singing for it much to everybodies annoyance.ha, ha.
