Somewhere Over The Rainbow...

Well caught,Petaltracey..aren't they a lovely sight? I find any I take,are never as good as the real thing..these are much clearer than any I've tried to capture..

I always like to see a rainbow :) One of nature's wonders ...

I'm a bit disappointed over the camera not capturing the colours that I saw...! But I think that's down to me, the photograher! I was trying to operate the camera, get as close to the hedge in the garden, as I could! (If I'd lost my footing it's at least a 10ft drop into the lane!) and all at the same time, trying to avoid the raindrops! :D

I've been so lucky to have seen two excellent rainbows in my life... One was when we were driving over to see my parents and Hubby and I saw the end of the Rainbow bouncing off the pavement!!! Sadly no crock of gold... Another one - and this is the best I've ever seen, was when I was leaving work. The offices I was based at were along side the River Medway, I saw not one but two Rainbows across the River! But better than that ~ the Rainbows crossed at their ends, thus making the top of a heart shape!!! Of course this was well before mobile 'phones or digital camera's - It was a truly spectacular sight - and it's very unlikely I'll ever see something like it ever again!!!
