These cosmos look very happy having that barrel to themselves. :-)

Well technically speaking, they're not by themselves....

Underneath, around the edges are some NEMESIA 'Berries & Cream' which were very visible just a couple of weeks ago but are now overshadowed by the 'Sonata Pinks'. It's all a learning curve though and I just wish we could have some sun to help it all along.

Well planted. Nemesia are so nice, but no competition for a sonata cosmo. I may just do cosmo in my barrel next year, looks great to me.

Being new to all of this, I am always fascinated by what you can find, including pots and such like. It's fatal to go to a garden centre as we just want to buy so much and I want so many flowers that Alison has to reign me in!

The Sonatas cost £5 for 2 lots and so I gave the 2nd lot to my Supervisor's wife for her birthday. She is getting into the gardening despite having a smaller garden and she loved them! Actually, have to ask her how they are faring at her garden...

I am trying to go more to seed and avoid those centers alltogether. I'll spend everything I've got......lol.

Well, this is the worry and why we sell on ebay to make the money to spoil ourselves in the garden. I want to get a couple of years under my belt, learning and what not before I attempt any propagating.

Who knows, it might just happen one day!

If any help, you'll not catch the same one at any center as one from seed, special each time. I'm not the best seeder myself, but boy is it more fulfilling.
